的声音 students at 英国威廉希尔中文网站 are challenged to perform at the highest level while receiving individual attention within the environment of a small, closely-knit liberal arts institution. Solo, choral 和 歌剧 experience
- Our area is large enough (approximately 45 students) to perform major choral works 和 歌剧, yet is small enough that the entire faculty develop relationships with every student without the competition of a graduate program. Our students are given frequent opportunities to perform in weekly activities such as choirs, 歌剧, 大师班, 工作室类, 协奏曲比赛, 还有学位独奏会. 事实上, freshmen have performed lead roles in 歌剧 productions 和 have been chosen as soloists on choral concerts because they aren't competing against students that may be five or six years older.
Competition 和 young artist success
- UE voice students can be found among the winners of the annual National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) regional 和 state competitions 和 rank equally well in other vocal competitions such as the Orpheus 和 NATSAA. 最近, several of our students have performed with regional 歌剧 companies 和 have participated in summer professional 歌剧 young artist programs across the United States 和 internationally.

- Each year the vocal area hosts well-known vocalists to perform in recitals 和 to coach our students in 大师班. Recent guest artists include the King's Singers, David Small, Mary Ann Hart, John Van Cura.
